Betty Ruth Brautigan, 79, of Langley passed away at Saint Francis South Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Saturday, March 5, 2022. She was born September 9, 1942, to Pleasant Ray Burton and Ruth Oneta (Dunford) Burton. She worked for many years as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of the Ketchum Seventh Day Adventist Church, the Red Hat Society, and the Lakeside Garden Club in the Coves. She was a very energetic lady who loved life and enjoyed lots of hobbies such as genealogy, traveling, reading, flower gardening, watching Elvis Presley movies, antique shopping, and ceramics. Her real passions were painting and playing the piano. Betty loved caring for her dogs. Most of all her family was most important to her. Her children, grandchildren, and siblings all had a special place in her heart. She cherished all the time she had with them. Betty was a wonderful lady that will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding Betty Brautigan in death are her parents, Pleasant and Ruth Burton. Survivors include her children, Emery Brautigan and wife Chen, of Virginia, Charles Brautigan and wife Heather, of Colorado, Suzanne Kerley and husband Wade, of Texas, Barry Brautigan, of Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; siblings, Mary Kraft and Harold Burton; many other relatives and a host of friends and loved ones.
Celebration of life services for Betty will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the Ketchum Seventh Day Adventist Church. Interment will follow at the Military Cemetery in Pensacola, Oklahoma. Services are entrusted to Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. Online condolences may be left at www.
