Brenda Kay Parman

Brenda Kay Parman, 67, of Vinita, Oklahoma, passed away at home on February 9, 2024, at home. She was born in Vinita, Oklahoma, on November 5, 1956, to John Henry Medearis and Betty Jo (Martin) Medearis.

Brenda was a graduate of Vinita High School and went on to earn some college credit hours. She worked as a personal health care assistant at the Home of Hope for years before retiring. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, watching TV with her dog Lainey, and going out to eat with her best friend Cindy. She also loved getting to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceding Brenda in death are her parents: John and Betty Jo Medearis; her daughter: Jenny Hickey and her sister: Donna Lee.

Those left to cherish the memory of Brenda include her daughter: Alison Haney and husband, Jason of Vinita, OK, her grandchildren: Megan Ramirez, and Morgan Haney of Vinita, Oklahoma, and Halley Medearis and husband Ty of Miami, Oklahoma; her great-grandchildren: Eli Haney, Alissa Biernacki, Emalynn Biernacki, Tyler Medearis, and Hayden Medearis; her brothers: Jack Medearis and Johnny Medearis, and her best friend: Cindy Hammock, along with other family members and friends.
