Buffie Stonebarger

Buffie Stonebarger was born in Gastonia, North Carolina and raised by the proud parents, Bob Mayes and Betty Drywater.  She passed away on Tuesday, January 05, 2021 at her home in Langley, OK.

Buffie was of the Christian faith and worshipped as often as she could. She was known by most to be an exceptional cook and was famous for her pies and biscuits with sausage gravy.  Buffie had many likes in her life, but none greater than the love she had for her children, she was a loving mother to them all.  Buffie worked at Frosty and Edna’s in Langley OK for many years.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Buffie is proceeded in death by her parents, Bob Mayes, and Betty Drywater, along with two step-brothers, John Mayes and Bobby Mayes.

Buffie is survived by her loving husband, Sky Smoke of the home, daughter, Mazy Sanchez and husband Lorenzo, sons, Jacob Stonebarger, Gary Stonebarger, Dustin Cox, grandson, Gabriel Vest Sanchez, along with many other family, friends and loved ones.

A graveside service will be held at Spavinaw-Strang Cemetery in Spavinaw, OK, on Friday, January 08, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
