Cornell Brown was born in Vinita, Oklahoma, on November 4, 1948 to Arstella and Buster Brown. Cornell was one of seven children. Cornell resided in Vinita, OK . Cornell was retired from the U.S. Air Force. He held may titles, Husband, Dad, Papa, Uncle, and Friend. Cornell passed away peacefully Tuesday evening at 11:00 pm with family by his side. Cornell was a strong man of faith, who's last word on this earth were “help me Jesus”. Cornell was a very private man who cherished his family. His favorite hobbies were fishing and spending time with family. Cornell was preceded in death by; His wife of 43 years, Carmen Brown (‘23); His parents, Rev. Buster Brown (‘79) & Mrs. Arstella Grimmett Brown (‘10) His daughter, Angel (‘72) His son, Martel Luper Jr. (‘90) His Siblings: Fred D. Ryder (‘88), Earl B. Ryder Sr. (’12), Augustine J. Littlejohn (’06), Teletha A. Thompson (‘95), Lewis E. Brown (’96) & Gary L. Brown (‘01) Cornell is survived by; Son - Corey Daughters - Shannon & Crystal; Cousin (Brother) - Stevie Grandchildren - Mike, BJ (Tiffany), Jolaunda, Christina (Jay), Jemil (Genielle), Cori (Malik), Tiara (Leng), Codell, Chrishaun (Daisy), Chabryan (Amanda), Chrishaun (Daisy), Caderian, Careesha; Great-grandchildren - Maria, Levi, Sekani, Zipporah, Ezara, Aaron, Jackson, Jemil Jr, Noah, Natalie, Janae’, Ayana.
