Dorothy Lorene Hall

Dorothy Lorene Hall, née Watson, was born on December 28, 1928, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She gently passed away on August 7, 2026, at Southern Hills Rehab in Tulsa, Oklahoma, closing a long and richly lived chapter in the presence of her loved ones and providing an enduring legacy of love, devotion, and resilience.

Throughout her ninety-seven years, Dorothy touched the lives of all who knew her with grace and kindness. Dorothy was the cherished daughter of Oklahoma, carrying forward the values of her generation into every interaction and relationship she nurtured. Her journey began in Stillwater, and over the decades, she witnessed, endured, and contributed to a world transformed by change and hope.

Community rooted and service oriented, Dorothy was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Vinita, Amaranth, Order of Eastern Star, White Shrine of Jerusalem, and Daughters of the Nile.

Family was the heart of Dorothy’s universe. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Wies of Tulsa; grandchildren, Kimberly Wilson of Tulsa, Deborah Wilson of Tulsa, and Melissa Horton (Jessy) of Abilene, Texas; great-grandchildren, Jackson Wilson of Bixby, Jacob Griffith of Tulsa, Lyssa Ward of Tulsa, Austin Magruder of Abilene, Coltin Magruder (Kristen Blankenship) of Tulsa, and Christoper Magruder (Destiny) of Abilene.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Verel West, and Kenneth Hall; daughter, Carolyn Bull; and her parents.

Dorothy Lorene Hall will be remembered for her steadfast devotion to family, her gentle wisdom, and the unfailing grace she extended to everyone she met. Her legacy lives on in the generations who will continue to draw strength and inspiration from her memory.

The family will receive friends at a visitation held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Vinita with Pastor Stephanie Crogan officiating.
