George J. Shaffer, Jr., 67, of Grove, Oklahoma died Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Integris Grove General Hospital. He was born July 31, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri to George J. Shaffer, Sr. and Frances Medved Shaffer. He served his country in the Marines, married Charlene McClure in Nowata, Oklahoma in 1967 and was self-employed as a cattle rancher. He is survived by his wife Charlene of the home. Cremation is planned and is under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.
