Jeanette Woods

Jeanette (McGlothlin) Woods, long time Grand Lake area resident, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 surrounded by family and friends. She was born June 25, 1933 in Richlands, Virginia to Clarence and Sybil (Cyphers) McGlothlin.

Jeanette loved to host dinner parties at her home, listen to Jazz music, and was a member of the Cherokee Yacht Club. She will be most remembered as a great mom and grandmother.

Jeanette is survived by her son and daughter, Keith Leedy and Stephanie Leedy of Kansas City; grandchildren, Erin Woodworth (Whitney), Brenna Walker, and Kristina Leedy (McCoy McMillan); great-grandchildren Evanlee and Brecklynn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David S. Woods; parents; and brother, Randall McGlothlin.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later time at the South Grand Lake Christian Church in Vinita. Arrangements are in the care of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
