John Alfred Rayment, 96-year-old former Coves resident, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023. John was born in Aurora, IL on March 4, 1927, to Cyril and Amy (Biles) Rayment. He proudly served in the Navy. He married the love of his life Marilyn Behm and together they raised two sons. John worked for Lubrizol Corporation for numerous years before retiring to the lake. In his retirement he enjoyed boating and golfing.
Survivors include his loving wife Marilyn, sons: Brad Rayment and Brian Rayment and wife Lynne, grandchildren: John Rayment, James Rayment, and Allyson Baldwin, and two great grandchildren: Georgia and Thomas Baldwin. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Joan.
To honor John’s request, no services will be planned at this time.
