Juanita "Micki" Hayward

October 16, 1936 — October 4, 2022

Vinita

Juanita “Micki” Lorene Hayward passed from this life into eternal rest with our Lord and Savior on October 4, 2022. Micki was born to Arthur and Lois Hopkins on October 16, 1936, in Dexter, New Mexico. Micki married the love of her life Jimmy Wayne Hayward on April 1, 1953, and they were happily joined together for 66 years. Micki was a devoted Christian servant and was devoted to her family and church family until the day she passed. Micki will be remembered by her family for her love of cooking and her strong faith to the Lord. She spent her time studying God’s word and was dedicated to bringing others to Christ. Micki taught Sunday school for over 25 years.

Micki’s children, granddaughter and great-grand children were her pride and joy. Micki retired from Cinch Connectors in Vinita as an inspector as she wished to spend the remainder of her years with her family that she treasured so dearly. To say she will be missed would not express the pain our hearts feel with her passing. However, we all know the angels are rejoicing as she is reunited with her Lord, husband, son, and other family members missed for many years.

Micki was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy, son Steven, her parents, and two brothers, Jesse, and Frank Hopkins. Those left to cherish her beautiful memory are her daughter Terri Hayward, son Jack Hayward, granddaughter Crystal Wise, bonus grandson Daniel Milliman, great-grand daughters Brittany O’Neil and Bethany and husband Austin Marcotte and Denver O’Neill, and two bonus great-grandchildren Alicia Case and Levi Landon. Micki leaves behind two sisters, Wanda Boice of Vinita and Ruby and husband Dee Meador of Conroe, Texas, as well as many other family members and a host of friends. Micki’s family has entrusted her care to the Lugnbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com or on the Luginbuel Funeral Home Facebook page.
