Julia Mae Oliver

July 31, 1950 — November 2, 2023

Bartlesville

Julia Mae Oliver met King Jesus on the bright and cloudless morning of November 2, 2023. Julia, a long time Bartlesville resident, found her first season on July 31, 1950, in Vinita, Oklahoma, the daughter of Booker T. Oliver Sr. and Leota (Willis) Oliver. Julia was raised in Vinita and graduated from Vinita High School. Julia was a unique individual who loved God and family. Julia put God first and knew where eternity was. She was greeted at the Gates of Heaven with a well done. We find comfort in knowing to be absent from this body is to be present with our Jesus and our sweet Julia is wrapped in the arms of our Lord and Savior pain free and at peace. Julie was quiet the historian for a lot of families in Vinita. If anyone needed to know anything about family history or generations, they would call “Julie Babe.”Julie loved garage sales, junk stores, community celebrations, bingo, being with her friends and doing activities, and the Dollar Store and her Avon lady. She was very social and would help her neighbors do any chores they needed done. She loved to visit with her friends and going to church with them. Julie was always happy and easy going, she would never admit it, but she liked to gossip with friends a little too! There will be a big empty spot where Julie has always been. She was very loved by many people! Those greeting her at the Gates of Heaven include: her parents and two sisters, Mayola and Jackie. Those left to cherish the memory of such a beautiful lady include: her brothers Richard, David and Booker T. Jr. as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives. The care, love, and final rights of Mrs. Oliver have been entrusted to the loving staff of the Luginbuel Funeral Home.
