Laura Beth Broaderick, born on July 16, 1939, in Wilmington, California, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, surrounded by her beloved family. She was a remarkable woman, whose spirit and love touched all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Laura dedicated herself to her career, proudly owning a handyman business for 21 years, along with a few years of driving a truck. Her work ethic and commitment to excellence were characteristic of her, serving as an inspiration to many.

Laura had a passion for cooking, especially when it came to baking, a talent she shared generously with her family. Being with her loved ones brought her immense joy; her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were everything to her. They will forever cherish the memories created in their time together. Laura extended her nurturing ability as a foster parent for many years caring for children and showing them love.

In addition to her family, Laura had a deep love for animals, reflecting her compassionate nature. She was actively involved in her community and held memberships at various organizations, including the First Baptist Church of Muskogee, the Cruising Angels Car Club alongside her son James, and the Order of the Eastern Star. Laura was also an enthusiastic 4-H Leader and participated in the Rainbow Girls during her youth, indicating her lifelong commitment to service and mentorship. In addition, she also represented and sold Avon for a period of time as well.

Laura is survived by her devoted children, Lori Martin of Muskogee, Gaylene Chandler (Terry) of Warner, and James Broaderick (Leslie) of Hulbert. She leaves behind a legacy that includes 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, who all carry forward her love and values. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Wanda Marsteller (August) of Brandenburg, Kentucky.

Laura was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Willard Broaderick; her special friend, Howard Eugene Branham; her daughter, Donna Raska; and her brothers, Robert Udell, Donald Udell, and James Udell.

A graveside service will be held in her honor on December 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Fairview Cemetery in Vinita, Oklahoma. Chaplain Cerita Tweed will officiate. Dakota Broaderick, Jackson Broaderick, Rodney Chandler, Darrin Staley, Jason Martin, Jeffrey Martin, and Caden Staley will serve as casket bearers.
