Linda Raye Gray

April 21, 1948 — October 3, 2024

Langley

Linda Raye Gray, 76-year-old Langley resident, passed away October 3, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, surrounded by family. She was born April 21, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Earl and Hazel (Knight) Adams. She married Charles Eugene Gray on March 17, 1984, in Tulsa.

Linda worked for over 35 years as an LPN for the Springer Clinic in Tulsa. After her retirement, she and Charlie moved back to the farm in Langley. She worked part time for Ketchum Public Schools as a Lunch Lady. They quickly grew to be Warriors fans and attended many of the sporting events at Ketchum Schools.

Linda loved her church and her family. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she was the former Relief Society President. She also enjoyed growing flowers and was known for her generosity. Linda was always willing to help others; that was her calling. In fact, she often was known to do this much to the chagrin of her family. She truly embraced the Biblical principle to care for your neighbor.

Linda is survived by her son, Mike McKenney of Palm Harbor, Florida; step-daughter, Valerie Nieman of Langley, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Aurelia McKenney, Ethan Nieman, Garrison Nieman, and Rebeka Bradley; aunt, Margueritte Knight; brother, Earl Adams of Washington, Illinois; sister, Jo Tillery of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and nieces, Ellen Tillery, Kira Kyle, Heather Chierici, Erin Adams, and Denise Berg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gray; parents, Earl and Hazel Adams, and twin-sister, Glenda Faye Adams.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 19th, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Pryor, Oklahoma.  Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemoriesvinita.com or on the funeral home Facebook page.
