Lois Ann (LeForce) Smith passed away February 4, 2025, at Heartsworth Nursing and Rehabilitation in Vinita, surrounded by family. She was born February 28, 1933, to Lowery and Lois (Brittain) LeForce. The youngest of three sisters, her happiest childhood memories are on horseback at the Cross-L Ranch with her dad.
Lois Ann grew up and attended school in Vinita, graduating from Vinita High School. After graduation, she went to work for First National Bank as a Teller. As a young bank teller, she was swept off her feet by a tall, handsome cowboy with a big smile, Bob Smith. The two were married December 21, 1952. To this union came four children who survive her: Tom Smith, Steve (Vicky) Smith, Debbi (Anthony) Dawson, and Mike (Tammy) Smith. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Blessed with a singing voice, she sang countless solos at the Methodist Church and sang at over two thousand funerals. Lois Ann was the most caring, loving mother her children could have hoped for. She will be missed by all who know her.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. The Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 7, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. in the Luginbuel Chapel with Pastors Andrew Haire and Stephanie Crogan officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery of Vinita.
