Marie Dehart, 91, of Vinita, Oklahoma, passed away on May 31, 2023. She was born February 4, 1932, in Longview, Texas. Marie graduated from Ysleta High School in El Paso, Texas in 1949. She was married in 1951 and lived in El Paso, Texas; Norman, Oklahoma; San Antonio, Texas; Anchorage, Alaska; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Pineville, Louisiana; and finally, Vinita, Oklahoma. She was employed by several banks in Texas and Oklahoma. Marie attended the Lighthouse Christian Center in Ketchum, Oklahoma where she served as the Treasurer, Secretary, and Trustee. Her faith in the Lord was the guiding light throughout her entire life.

She was the mother of three sons. Robert Wayne of Tulsa, Gary Alan of Broken Arrow, and Jeffery Scott, deceased. Marie was preceded in death by her mother Rosy Robinson, three sisters, Frances Sears, Nell Dunn, and June Compton.

Marie had a tremendous sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was Mama D to so many and was a great friend who was always willing to help. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 7, 2023, at 10:00 am, at the Lighthouse Christian Center under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery directly following the service. Memorials may be given to the Lighthouse Christian Center or the Vinita Public Library.
