Mark Lee Keller, 68, of Adair, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, surrounded by the love of his three children.
Born on April 2, 1957, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Mark was the beloved son of the late Ronald Clark and Mary Alyce Keller. He graduated from Hale High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1975 and earned a bachelor's degree in Fire Science from Oklahoma State University in 1979.
Mark graduated from the Tulsa Fire Academy in 1981 and had a 28-year distinguished career with the Tulsa Fire Department before retiring as a Captain in 2008. Mark was known by his colleagues for his dedication, courageous spirit, and sense of humor.
In retirement, Mark enjoyed birdwatching, riding his motorcycle, camping in his RV, and remodeling houses. He was an avid donor to numerous charities, collector of guns, and never missed an opportunity to help those in need. On any given day, you could find him on his front porch with a cup of coffee, watching his birds, and texting his children pictures of the different critters he found trying to get into his house.
Mark took great pride in being a father and "Papa K" to his two grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to attend special events or occasions for his family. More importantly, he never missed an opportunity to tell his kids and grandchildren "I love you" and "I'm proud of you".
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Clark and Mary Alyce Keller, and his brother, Mark Allen Keller. He is survived by his three children, Jennifer Keller of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Josh Keller of Adair, Oklahoma, Madison Sellers and husband, Blake, of Rogers, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Reagan, and Ryatt Keller; and numerous cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, November 14th, at 2:00 PM at the Adair Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Mark's memory.
