Norma Louise (Sprague) Adams 99, went home to her Lord, on August 2, 2020, at Tallgrass Estate in Bartlesville. She was born on January 15, 1921, to Charlie and Carrie Sprague. Raised in a loving home with one sister and two brothers. On June 24, 1940 Norma married, Rev. Lee Adams in Nowata, Oklahoma. Norma and her husband were shepherds of several United Methodist churches in Oklahoma. Norma also ministered in nursing homes and was a long-time member of the United Methodist Women’s society, after school children’s program, Ruthdale Extension Club of Nowata, volunteered at Nowata Historical Society, and Nowata County Election Board; Also active in the Nowata County Fair. Norma loved her Lord and family.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents; Charlie and Carrie Sprague, husband; Rev. Lee Henry Adams, one son; Danny Adams, three siblings; Evelyn Wood, Ralph Sprague and Kenneth Sprague

Survivors include one daughter Phyllis Adams of Bartlesville, OK, two grandchildren; Carrie Standridge of Bartlesville, OK, Shandy Cales and husband Steven of Anna, TX, five great grandchildren; Logan Standridge, Kian Shelton, KayLee Standridge, Kobe Shelton, Faith Cales, and one great-great grandchild Thomas Standridge

Funeral service for Norma Adams will be held at 12:00p.m., Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Nowata, Oklahoma with Pastor Jerry Coldren officiating.  Services are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service of Nowata.
