Randy Ledon Henson, 70-year-old Eucha resident, passed away on October 6, 2026, in Tahlequah, surrounded by family. He was born on January 14, 1938, in Pryor, Oklahoma to Arthur Wayne and Don Virginia (Richmond) Henson.
Randy graduated from Jay High School in 1974. He married the love of his life Linda Sue Henson on October 11, 1974, at the Topsy Assembly of God Church. He lived in the Grand Lake area all his life.
Randy worked most of his life for Spavinaw and Jay Public Schools where he was a maintenance worker and drove the school bus. He was a positive spirit to those around him and would always do whatever he could to help others. After his wife’s passing in 2018, he had a passion for organizing the annual Linda Henson Memorial Benefit singing to raise money for the Disney Assembly of God girl’s ministry and local breast cancer organizations.
Randy was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish and work on the farm with his son, Mike, grandson, Gavin, and his dog, Zeke. He loved watching Sooner sports and spending time with family and friends from Disney Assembly of God church where he was a member.
Randy is survived by his children, Michael Henson (Deni) of Cookson, Brian Henson (Kalynn) of Miami, and Melissa Mooney of Claremore; grandchildren, Gavin Henson, Kelby Henson, and Malakai Mooney; brothers, Rusty and Rickey Henson; and many other beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue Henson; parents, Don Virginia, and Arthur Wayne Henson; and a granddaughter, Emma Rose Henson.
