Raymond Hugh Minniear Sr. passed away July 15, 2020 in Tulsa, OK. He was born in Nowata, OK on October 13, 1927 the son of Issac Oscar Minniear and Rosa Lee (Fulsom) Minniear. Raymond attended school in Nowata until the age of sixteen, when he joined the US Navy. He served his country, and was at Pearl Harbor during the bombing. Upon his completion of military service, Raymond returned to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he found a job in engineering as a shop foreman and was later promoted to field operations. Raymond traveled extensively with his job to many International locations. He lived in the Tulsa area until his retirement.
Raymond was preceded by a spouse, Helen Johnson; daughter, Brenda Landers; three sisters, Marie, Nova, and Louise; four brothers, Joseph, Issac Oscar Jr., Claude, Roy, and Dwight Minniear.
Survivors include son, Raymond Minniear Jr. of Owasso, OK; special nephew, Randy Blevens of Roswell Georgia; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 20, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Benjamin Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Nowata, OK.
