Stanley Leon Bridgeman, 81, of Big Cabin, Oklahoma passed away March 23, 2022, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born in Vinita, Oklahoma on May 6, 1940, to Arthur Stanley “Sonny” Bridgeman and Helen Loren (McCusland) Bridgeman. On July 6, 1960, he married the love of his life, Juanita Murphy, In Vinita. He worked in the construction business for many years and owned his own plumbing business for a large part of that time. He went on to working at Pryor Foundry in the maintenance department until his retirement. Stanley enjoyed working on old cars building and restoring several. He liked going to auctions and car shows, meeting and talking with other car buffs. He also enjoyed fishing and camping with his family below the Grand River Dam. Above all he loved his family. His children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren brought him many hours of enjoyment. Stanley will be missed by all who knew him.
Preceding Mr. Bridgeman in death are his parents, Sonny, and Helen Bridgeman, and two grandchildren, David Stelle and Anthony Stelle. Survivors include his wife Juanita; children, Wesley Bridgeman and wife Corinne, of Big Cabin, LaDonna Goforth and husband Allen, of Vinita, Annette Bridgeman, of Big Cabin; grandchildren, Alvin Brown, Jonathan Pooler, Amber Lee and husband John, Dakota Goforth and wife Taylor; great grandchildren, Amanda Lee, Larry Lee, Aubree Lee; siblings, Lorena Dean and husband Harold, of Vinita, Bill Bridgeman and wife Sandy, of Pampa, Texas, Alesia Cox and husband Darrel, of Vinita, Regina Pippen and husband Jeff, of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; special friends Bill and Linda Chanley, of Claremore, Oklahoma; many other relatives and a host of friends.
