Walker Hall Vivion, 68-year-old Warsaw, Missouri resident, formerly of Vinita, passed away February 2, 2026, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born June 11, 1957, to Mart and Donna (Barnwell) Vivion in Vinita, Oklahoma. He graduated from Vinita High School.
Walker began working at Carter’s Hardware during high school. He stayed after graduation and eventually became the manager. He also worked for Grand River Dam Authority. Walker’s adventurous nature eventually led him to pursue a travel job with a road construction company where he worked for 37 years until his retirement.
In addition to being a hard worker and dedicated employee, Walker was known for his jovial personality and charming smile. Anytime you saw Walker, he had a big smile on his face.
Walker is survived by his sister, Karen Sue Blankenship of Pensacola, Florida; brother, Ronnie Nowlin and wife, Joyce, of Vinita, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, Justin Nowlin of Vinita, Janatha Schreiner of Tulsa, Kevin Cackler of Broken Arrow, Karla Besmer of Florida, and Bill Cackler of Texas; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A private interment service will be held at Ketchum Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemoriesvinita.com or on the funeral home Facebook page. Arrangements are in the care of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. “Family owned. Locally operated.”
