Eliza Wiens

June 4, 1929 — September 8, 2022

Ketchum

Eliza “Neoma” Perkins Wiens took her first breath of life June 4th, 1929, in White River, Missouri, the youngest daughter of James and Anna Perkins. Neoma passed from this life into eternal rest with our Lord and savior on the evening of September 8th, 2022. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Our hearts are full knowing that our precious Neoma is walking the streets of glory hand in hand with her beloved husband, Vermont. Neoma and Vermont were married June 19th, 1947, in Oswego, Kansas. They were blessed with three beautiful children. A big heart wouldn’t begin to describe the love, compassion, and care that Neoma held for all those she came in contact with. Neoma was considered a talented artist. She was creative and could do anything she put her mind to. Neoma opened her heart to the world and showed a true love of Christ to all she met.  She will be dearly missed. We know as Christian’s that this isn’t goodbye but simply see you later.  As family and friends, we look forward to a great reunion someday. Our sweet Neoma was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Vermont and two sons, Jim, and Warren. Those left to cherish her beautiful memory are her daughter Marjorie, her granddaughter April, one sister Mary Jane and a host of other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers the family ask donations to be made to the Journey Home in Bartlesville Oklahoma. Neoma’s Loving family has entrusted her care to the staff of the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita, OK. Online Condolences can be left at www.honoringmemories.com or on Luginbuel’s Facebook page.
