Floyd Vol Faulkner, of Vinita passed away Monday, May 9,2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Floyd was born September 19, 1946, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Clarence Vol and Ola Faye Faulkner. He graduated from Vinita High School in 1965 and then joined the United States Navy. After being discharged from the Navy, Floyd married the love of his life Sherry Seabolt on December 12, 1967, in Vinita. After a career in the restaurant and bakery business he attended the Dallas institute of Funeral Service and started his second career as a Funeral Director. Floyd loved the outdoors, camping with his children when they were young, fishing, boating, and riding his motorcycle. Most of all he loved his family. His wife, children, grandchildren, sister, brother, basset hounds, and other family members all had a special place in his heart. He cherished the time he spent with them, and they will all miss him.

Preceding Floyd in death are his mother, Ola Faye Faulkner, father, Clarence Vol Faulkner, sister, Barbara Ann Kiser, stepmother, Jo Lee Faulkner, and an infant daughter.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Sherry Faulkner, son, Matthew Faulkner and wife Olivia, Sandee Marlow, and fiancé Stace Scoles, five grandchildren, one great grandchild, sister Jeanette Templeton, brother Joe Faulkner, stepsister Christy Kenworthy, stepbrothers Mark and Donny Letbetter, many other relatives, and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life services for Floyd Faulkner will be held later. The family suggest donations the Alzheimer’s Association. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com or see our Facebook page. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
