Janie Loffer

September 13, 1973 — March 7, 2022

Janie Lerlene (Johnson) Loffer passed away on March 7, 2022.  She was born on September 13, 1973, to parents Jimmie L. Johnson and Era Lerlene "Shine" Leonard Johnson in Pryor, Oklahoma.  After four older brothers, she was the apple of her parents’ eye.  Janie was very loved by her family, cousins, relatives, and friends.   In May 1993 she married Jason Loffer and to this union were born two daughters, Taylor Loffer-Frazier, and Paige Loffer.  Her daughters were her greatest joy.  In December 2020 she was engaged to Andy Shepherd.

Janie always had a smile and welcoming personality. She gave the biggest, realest hugs.  She had a kind and giving heart.  She loved watching her daughters play sports.  She cheered the loudest at whatever activity they were involved with.   She was an amazing fun aunt to her many nieces and nephews, spoiling them with water gun wars, scary movies and always being supportive.  She was the “little sister” to her brothers, and they doted on her.   She’d always ask them, “Hey Bub, whatcha doin’?” Her favorite color was purple.  She loved snow and the mountains. Her favorite meal was spaghetti, and her secret recipe has been handed down to the next generation.

Janie was a valued employee at Bank of Oklahoma in the mortgage department.  She received her Associates degree in accounting from Tulsa Community College.

Janie is survived by her two daughters, Taylor and Jeff Frazier and Paige Loffer, and her fiancé Andy Shepherd, her four brothers Jimmie and Carol Johnson, Johnny and Kelly Johnson, Jeff Johnson, and Justin and Traci Johnson, many, many cousins, friends and family.  She is preceded in death by her parents, who welcomed her into Heaven.

Janie’s service will be held on March 20, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Luginbuel’s Funeral Home in Langley, Oklahoma.  She will be greatly missed and held in our hearts forever.
