LeVaughn “Von” Dean Kerr, of Delaware, Oklahoma, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at Ascension Saint John, Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, at the age of 79.

Von was born on June 25, 1943, in Bluejacket, Oklahoma to William Roosevelt and Nona Irene (Kelly) Kerr. He was raised on his family farm in rural Bluejacket, where he graduated from Bluejacket High School.  Von continued his education at Okmulgee Tech, where he was certified as an Electronic Design Engineer. While working for LaBarge Technologies, Inc. Von was proud to have worked on many important projects several being successful space shuttle projects.

Von was a member of the Faith and New Hope Church in Carterville, Mo.   He was also a  32-degree mason and member of the Scottish Rite of Free Masonry of the Orient of Oklahoma of the Valley of Tulsa for 50 years, and a 50-year member of the Grand Lodge of Oklahoma A.F. & A.M./Gene Autry Catoosa No. 185.
