Marilyn Rich

Marilyn Ann Rich of Houston, Texas passed away on September 23rd, 2020, at the age of 88. She was born on May 28th, 1932, in Vinita, Oklahoma to Jack and Lela (Moots) Williamson. In 1952, Ms. Marilyn Ann Williamson married Leonard Leo Rich Jr. in Vinita, Oklahoma. She worked for Clear Creek ISD as an admired elementary school teacher for many years. Known for her kindness and gentle personality, Marilyn was an active volunteer committing her time to both Interfaith Ministries and Hope Village. She graduated from Memphis State University with a bachelor’s degree in Education after attending Vinita Highschool in Vinita, Oklahoma. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed reading, bridge, and was devoted to her faith.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her father, Jack; mother, Lela; husband, Leonard and son Michael.

She is survived by her two sons, Ronnie and Kevin; daughter in law, Tracy; grandchildren, Natasha, Nathan, Callie, Griffin, and Cody; great grandchildren, Tucker, Everett, Grayson, Brody, Rivers; brother, Gary Williamson and wife Barbara and a niece Michelle.

Graveside service will be Saturday, July 31st, 2021, 9:00AM at Fairview Cemetery in Vinita, Oklahoma with Pastor Andrew Haire officiating.
