Robert Ray Gleason, 92, Lifelong resident of Vinita Gained his wings in the early morning hours of September 29th 2022. Robert was born December 13th, 1929, the son of Floyd Gleason and Ruby Olive (Lightfoot) Gleason. Robert married Willie “Maxine” Maxey, on April 3rd, 1975.Robert was the parts manager at C.R. Moore Motor Co. for 30 years, as well as owning and operating the Vinita laundry mat for a number of years. Robert enjoyed flying and was a licensed pilot. He also enjoyed boating, water skiing and riding motorcycles. Robert was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and held every office over a number of years. Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years Maxine, his parents, Brother Rodney, a Sister-in-law rosemary, Two stepsons, Jack and Windelle. Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Donna and husband Mark, Lois and husband Lewis, and Joyce as well as his Stepchildren, James and wife Kathy, Moeta Watts and, Fred Woodall. Five Grandchildren Shana, Brett, Ashley, Calvin and, Clinton, as well as many great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside Services will be held Friday September 30th at 2pm at Fairview cemetery in Vinita, Ok. The Family has entrusted Robert’s care to the staff of the Luginbuel funeral Home.
